Fees, Cancellation & No-show Policy

Fees:

Intake Session: $200

Ongoing Sessions: $180

Late Cancellations/No-Shows: $120

I have a few slots that I reserve for people with financial hardships. Please call/email to apply for reduced fee sessions.

Cancellation/Late Policy:

Missed appointments are costly in lost time and revenue, preventing me from providing services to other clients. I understand that unanticipated events occasionally happen in everyone’s life. Business meetings, project deadlines, flight delays, car problems, snowstorms, and illness are just a few reasons why one might consider canceling an appointment. In my desire to be effective and fair to all of my clients and out of consideration for my time, I have adopted the following policies:

At least 48 hours’ notice of cancellation is expected. This would allow me to offer your canceled time slot to another client waiting for an appointment. 24-hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. If you cannot give me 24 hours’ advance notice, you will be charged $120. The notification needs to be provided on or before Friday for Monday appointments. You must pay this amount before your next scheduled appointment.

Because I cannot bill your insurance company for a missed appointment, you will end up paying the full fee for the missed session out-of-pocket.

This cancellation policy is standard in the medical and mental health fields and strictly enforced. The only time I will waive this fee is in the event of a serious or contagious illness or emergency.

The phone # to call for cancellations is 206-925-3158. You may reach this number at any time of the day or night to leave a voice message.

No-shows

Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged the full fee for their “missed” appointment.

Arriving late

Appointment times have been arranged specifically for you. If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, we will determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment given, you will be responsible for paying for the “full” session.

Please plan accordingly and be on time.
